01. A Sacred Sanctuary of Trust
At Enmuse, we believe your spiritual life, prayers, and meditations are deeply sacred. In an era dominated by predatory engagement algorithms, behavioral harvesting, and attention commodification, Enmuse is intentionally built on a foundation of digital sanctuary.
We collect the absolute minimum data necessary to deliver your devotional companion experience. We do not sell, rent, monetize, or disclose your personal reflection logs to any third-party advertisers, data brokers, or external AI model trainers.
02. Information We Collect
- Account Credentials: If you create an account to synchronize your habits across devices, we collect your email address and authentication credentials.
- Local Journal & Habit Telemetry: By default, prayer entries, audio session bookmarks, and devotional completion marks are stored locally on your device using client-side cache and local storage.
- Operational Logs: When you access our progressive web app, basic network metadata (IP address, browser user-agent, request timestamps) is processed ephemerally by our edge security infrastructure (Cloudflare) to mitigate DDoS attacks and protect system availability.
- Transaction Information: If you support the project or subscribe, payment card processing is securely managed by Apple, Google Play, or Stripe. We never see or store your raw payment card numbers.
03. What We NEVER Do
We do not embed Facebook Pixel, Google AdSense, or behavioral tracking SDKs.
Your prayers and contemplations are never scraped or fed into LLM model training corpora.
We never trade, rent, or sell user contact lists or demographic profiles to marketing firms.
We do not dispatch artificial urgency alerts or spam push notifications designed to hook dopamine.
04. Your Rights & Data Portability
Regardless of your physical jurisdiction (including CCPA / CPRA in California and GDPR in the European Union), you hold the following rights regarding your information:
- The right to request a complete machine-readable copy of any synchronized account data.
- The right to immediate, permanent deletion of your account and synchronized records.
- The right to clear your local storage at any time via your browser settings or in-app reset.
